A $30 robot just changed home cleaning.
Tau Robotics has launched a humanoid home cleaning service in San Francisco for $30 per hour.
For comparison... A human cleaner usually costs $150–300.
Even robot cleaning startup Gatsby charges around $150.
But there's something most people missed.
The robot isn't cleaning completely on its own.
A real person controls it remotely during the job.
So it's not fully autonomous...
It's human work, just done from somewhere else.
