Japan’s New Drone Backpack Lets You Jump Like an Astronaut

What if you could jump like you were on the Moon?

Researchers at the University of Tokyo are working on Lunavity, a wearable drone system designed to make people feel lighter.

Instead of flying for you, it works with your own movement. You jump.

The system pushes upward. And suddenly, it feels like gravity is much weaker.

Newer versions use 16 rotors and have demonstrated jumps that simulate around 75% reduced gravity.

The idea could eventually be useful for training, entertainment, mobility, and space simulation. Maybe the future isn't about flying.

Maybe it's about making Earth feel lighter.
