Australia just changed the rules for AI music.
ARIA, Australia’s official music chart organization, now draws a clearer line between AI-assisted music and songs created mainly by generative AI.
Artists can still use AI, as long as humans remain responsible for the main writing, vocals, and instrumentation.
ARIA can also remove ineligible tracks, change chart positions, or withdraw awards.
