BRAIN-CONTROLLED GAMING is getting real.
At the World AI Conference 2026 in Shanghai, a gamer played Black Myth:
Wukong using a wearable headset instead of a traditional controller.
The headset reads brain activity and turns specific signals into commands inside the game.
The setup uses visual cues on screen, and the system reportedly takes only about 5 minutes to prepare a new player.
No surgery. No brain implant was needed.
Just a headset reading signals from the brain.
It’s still an early demonstration, but the idea of controlling games without touching a controller is getting a lot more practical.
